Gender equality is fundamental to a peaceful, just and prosperous society. AVA advocates for the meaningful participation of women in leadership and decision-making at all levels — government, the judiciary and legislative bodies — and strengthens women's leadership capacities. Through advocacy, education and capacity-building, and in collaboration with national and international partners, we work to prevent discrimination and violence and to safeguard the dignity, safety and rights of women.
